6/29/2009 | July 4th In advance Leduc's want to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July!! Both locations will be open only until 2pm on Saturday, July 4th!
6/26/2009 | Special for July! On Special for the month of July is our tastey Blueberry Vinaigrette and Dried Berry/Cherry and Dried Blueberries. Buy a bottle of Vinaigrette and get your choice of dried berries free!! This makes for a perfect summer salad.
We recommend taking some mixed greens with fetta cheese. Add dried or fresh blueberries and almonds. Top with a blueberry vinaigrette dressing.
6/23/2009 | U-pick 2009 We are sorry to announce that this year, due to extreme winter conditions we will not be having U-pick. We know that many of you will be dissappointed, as we are too, but the harsh Michigan winter took its toll on the fruit this year. Weather permitting, U-pick will be back next year. However, we will have plenty of fresh berries available for purchase in the stores.
We are hoping to start selling fresh berries on July 1st! The 30th St. location hours are 8-7 Daily. The M-40 location hours are 9-7 Daily. Prices for berries are $20 for 10lbs, $10.50 for 5lbs, and $5.00 for a quart.
*New at the M-40 location is our tasty Hudsonville Ice Cream.
*New at the 30th Street location we will be making fresh healthy smoothies along with having ice cream.
*We also will be serving products from Rykes bakery along with our own berries and products to make some delicious combinations. A slice of blueberry pie ala mode, or a blueberry muffin with a cup of blueberry coffee or tea could be exactly what you need to jump start your day!
5/19/2009 | Get ready for 2009 season!! Warmer weather is feeling great! The buds are starting to swell and soon there will be blueberries.We do not have many frozen berries left so if you need some, come and get them. Our regular 30th St. spring store hours are Monday 8-4, Wednesday 9-5, and Friday 8-4. Remember we now accept MC/Visa credit and debit. We also have frozen blueberry pies made by MacKenzies Bakery with our own blueberries, YUMMM! So stop and shop for our blueberry products.
For the month of May we have on sale the Blueberry & Doubleberry Spread (10oz). They are buy 1 get 1 free! They make fine gifts for everybody.This year we will also have ice cream and smoothies at the U-Pick. That will cool you down after being in the hot fields. It's just under a month and a half till season. See you then!
2/25/2009 | For Your Information! It is a common misconception that the white film on fresh blueberries is pesticide residue,however it is actually called the bloom. The bloom on a blueberry helps protect the blueberry from the sun and has health benefits of its own. It is a sign of freshness.
